1. Place both bases on the side and push in the chrome legs. They lock in automatically with a little tap

2. Place both bases together and open the lids. There will be one bolt to join these lids together it's the only one in the pack. Feed the bolt through both lids and place a washer on each side and tighten with nut. You will find this underneath the lid and it will look like the material is torn, this is the slit for the bolt.

3. The u-clip is to hold the bases together. Once the lid is open the actual base below can be held together with the uclips.

4. Finally the bolts with the white caps are to connect the headboard to the base. Feed the screw from behind the headboard into the base
